The Circle is an American reality-tv competition show presented by Michelle Buteau. The series follows contestants who attempt to guess who is a catfish or not for the grand-prize of $100,000.
The Netflix-variant is an adaptation of the UK version, which originally aired on Channel 4. The first season was released January 1, 2020. Netflix renewed the series for a second and third season on March 24, 2020. The second season was a four-week event with new episodes every Wednesday started April 14, 2021 and concluded on May 5, 2021, crowning DeLeesa St. Agathe the second American winner, playing as her husband Trevor.
The third season will be a four-week event with new episodes every Wednesday starting September 8, 2021 through the September 29, 2021 finale. August 9, 2021, it was announced that Netflix renewed the series for a fourth and fifth season ahead of the release of the third season.[4]
